TRIALS : Alexander Street Press and Ebsco Databases

Atkins Library is currently trialing the following resources!

ASP LGBT Thought & Culture:

LGBT Thought and Culture is an online resource hosting the key works and archival documentation of LGBT political and social movements throughout the 20th century and into the present day. The collection includes materials ranging from seminal texts, letters, periodicals, speeches, interviews, and ephemera covering the political evolution of gay rights to memoirs, biographies, poetry, and works of fiction that illuminate the lives of lesbian, gay, transgender, and bisexual individuals and the community.”(source)

ASP Dance in Video vol. 2:

“The second volume expands upon the foundation built in Volume I, providing 400 hours of video that showcase a new catalogue of dancers and partners including the Joffrey Ballet, John Jasperse Company, Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, Bavarian State Ballet, Royal Ballet of Cambodia, Kirov Ballet, and Compañía Nacional de Danza.”(source)

“This database combines the Women's Studies International and Men's Studies databases with the coverage of sexual diversity issues. Several thousand links to freely available and indexed full-text articles and documents on the Internet are available.  Source documents include professional journals, conference papers, theses & dissertations and other sources.” (source)

Per trial policy, these resources cannot be accessed from off campus.
