ICPSR



Are you looking for statistics in criminal justice to help you support an argument?  Are you curious about a certain topic in education and want to see what data may have been collected on it?  If this is you, ICSPR is the database for you!

ICPSR is an international consortium of more than 700 academic institutions and research organizations., ICPSR provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and methods of analysis for the social science research community.

ICPSR maintains a data archive of more than 500,000 files of research in the social sciences. It hosts 16 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields. (source)

Over 700 partners are consistently contributing data to the ICPRS database to provide a complete database of datasets related to the social sciences for use by university students and faculty.

In addition, ICPSRS is committed to educating its users on how best to analyze and use the data it provides.  To this end, they provide instructorss with tools to help their students learn how to use the ICPSR database as well as social science datasets as well.
